Stump Grinding

After a tree has been felled, the remaining stump can present an issue. It is often difficult to use the area as a meaningful space unless it is safely removed. As a large tree will have a large root network it’s often impractical to remove the roots as it can damage a large patch of ground.

The professional tree surgeons at AM Ground Maintenance use specialist stump grinding equipment to safely clean the relevant area. We use different sized grinders depending on the size and location of the stump. They reduce the stump down to a level well below the surface of the ground, grinding it down into wood chips. These can be safely and easily removed and allows the stump site to be filled in, covered or turfed over.
